A Data-Flow Language for Specifying Business Data Processing Applications

A high level specification language called Business Data-Flow Language (BDFL) based on the data-flow model of computation is described in this paper. A translator to convert BDFL Specifications into COBOL programs has been implemented. A novel feature of the proposed translation system is the use of Data Base Menagement Systems (DBMS) in conjunction with COBOL. This relieves the user of the need to design data structures for the intended Data Processing application

The synthesis, characterization and thermal chemistry of modified norbornenyl PMR endcaps

As part of a program to further the understanding of the polymerization of Nadic-Endcapped PMR systems, a series of model Norbornenyl-Imides has been synthesized and their thermal behavior explored. Their syntheses and characterizations as well as their rearrangement and polymerization chemistry are described. Monomer isomerization at temperatures as low as 125 C and oligomer formation at somewhat higher temperatures are observed. Approximate relative rates for competing isomerization pathways are established and some information is obtained about the details of oligomer formation. The relationship of this data to current PMR systems is briefly discussed

Dynamic Resonance Effects in the Statistical Distributions of Asteroids and Comets

Some principles in the distribution of Centaurs and the "Scattered Disk" objects, as well as the Kuiper belt objects for its semi-major axes, eccentricities and inclinations of the orbits have been investigated. It has been established, that more than a half from them move on the resonant orbits and that is what has been predicted earlier. The divergence of the maximum in the observable distribution of the objects of the Kuiper belt for the semi-major axes with an exact orbital resonance has been interpreted.Comment: 7 pages, 5 figures, 1 table.
